YES!!! Finally, it arrived, the perfect wedding band for baby. You can't really see it in the picture but the ring is awesome. The best part is, it looks even better when Boo puts it on. I don't know if its because it actually is starting to make things seems more real, or the fact that Brandon is just plain awesome to begin with (I'm leaning toward option 2). Boo, went ahead and got me a matching band to wear when I can't wear my engagement rock! I guess that makes us part time twins! | |

Can't describe how happy I am to have found the perfect dress for Mi Madre! She is absolutely stunning in her dress. I can't wait to see her all dressed up on our day. We definitely had a successful day. We found her dress, shoes, and my wedding shoes! Looking good Mama! I love you! Although it was only a day, it could quite possibly pass as a week worth of events. My day started early in the morning. I met with a friend who was so gracious to lend us things to use for the wedding. Jessica had her wedding at JCC in January (and her wedding was absolutely Beautiful) I wish I could have been there to witness it in person, but seeing it afterward was enough to see that it was gorgeous. She has a special place in my heart, and I am so thankful to have been able to meet her. Before leaving, she gave me a gift that was completely adorable. Seriously it was perfect! I mean, the oven mitt had anchors on it! After meeting with Jessica, I drove up to JCC, only to have to detour due to an accident that left me stuck in a ditch. Thankfully, three wonderful gentlemen, John, Johnathan, and Pablo were there to rescue me. The three of them went out of there way to get me out of the ditch, when they could have easily left me there to fend for myself. They were amazing and I hope I run into all of them again some day. Not only did they get me out, but they got me out in enough time to make it to JCC. Since it is March, I got to see my boy Pete, who helped me out with how to go about hanging the fabric that Jessica is lending me for the back. Thank you Pete for going above and beyond. Afterward, I met up with my family at the outlets to browse for some dresses. I got to spend time with all my family minus Sissy and Jessie. Afterward, Mom and I hit up the mall and successfully found her dress (which is also in another post because I just had to show her off!). But seriously, I can't believe how fortunate I am to have met all these amazing people in my life today. I don't know how I would have gotten through today without you. And if that wasn't enough, I got home to find out my veil had arrived!!!! Thank goodness Munch had off from school today. We got so much accomplished that we forgot to take pictures. The life saver that she is helped me figure our what to get everyone for gifts (which is kind of cheating because then she will know what her gift is). Oh well, at least I know she will like it. SO anyway, after I it was too late and I was on my way home I remembered that we forgot to take pictures for the blog. Leave it to my little one, I look at my phone and there is my picture for today. Even though they don't correspond to todays tasks, they still capture a portion of our day :) I love you, Munchkin!
After finally figuring out the bridesmaid dress, I thought we were going to be on a manhunt or a special shoe to wear with that perfect dress. Little did I know that Andi would immediately solve the problem. She had her pair of Kino Cardones in her car. As all the girls waited in the fitting room, Mom ran out to get the sandals. Perfect match for the dress. All that was left was to get everyones shoe size and call the Kino factory. Alan, from The Kino Factory was amazing. He even went through the effort of texting me pictures of different color browns. I am so grateful for his extended effort. I went ahead an ordered the light brown and receive the package within a week. I couldn't resist pulling them out and trying them on. They are meant to be for the dress! Thanks And for thinking on your toes that took a great deal of stress off my shoulders. Love you! Our morning started off with a visit to JCC to try to get the lay out finalized. Thankfully there weren't as many people there as compared to the previous Wednesday. We were able to get them set up and talk over our plans for where we want certain things. Our dance floor is going to be a little tight, but it's only going to make us all come together closer :). Afterward we stopped by Men's Wearhouse and finalized the suits for the guys. Sneak peak below, they will be rocking the Jacket with basketball shorts and sneakers! Just kidding!
Dadoo, B-Dub, and I were at it again in the barn. This time, we were working on an "arch" that doesn't have an arch in it. We basically did a test run for our altar out of driftwood that Brandon and I have been collecting. After spending a couple hours working on it and figuring out how it needs to be done up. Now we just need a few more pieces of wood to bolt this thing together. |
As a coupleWe love to scuba dive, eat Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream chips, shop in Williams Sonoma, and watch Wheel of Fortune during dinner. Archives
