My childhood didn't involve many dolls; it was mainly horses. When tasked with a way to ask my closest girls to join my crew, I had to think hard. I couldn't exactly incorporate horses with my nautical theme, so I went to option 2. Of the few dolls I played with, many were paper dolls. Bam <idea occurred>! Paper Doll Bridesmaids (Nautical Style). So I jumped on Photoshop, edited some faces on to my Kate Moss Paper Doll, and printed and pasted onto see-through label envelopes. I hope they are as excited as I am! Complements to I Love Mel, Paper Doll Kate Moss out of UK.

We finally got around to laying out the picture frames from the wood we found while diving down in the keys this year. So now we have some glassless frames to use as decorations around the Jupiter Civic Center for the wedding. Now we just have to pick which pictures to put in them! Thanks Dadoo for having everything would could possibly need to accomplish this! Besides being 7 years and 10 months, we were able to make a decision on table numbers. Baby came up with the idea of using Island names in place of numbers and I absolutely loved the idea. We went through a list of Bahamian Islands and picked our favorites based off fishing grounds, popularity, and google searches (in that order). Our names will range from A to Z instead of 1-10. I took the privilege of taking over the garage (once again) and set up the entire table, using all the silverware and glasses in the house. Note the things hanging from the ceiling. That's is where you will find your seat! I hope you are as excited as we are. Thanks Boo for all of your support and supervising! Just as before with the jersey numbers, the 5 and 3 have significance. It's the day we are getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mama Wagner, Austin, and I had a busy day looking for Mama Wagner's Dress. Seeing that she is a huge Lily fan, we made our way up to Gardens and tried on all the Navy Blue dresses they had. She opted for this little number and a matching jacket and shoes to top it off. Then we headed to C.R. Chicks for lunch and checked out City Girls on our way back.
We went for a visit to a local bakery recommended to us by Mama Wagner. Seeing that we already know exactly what we want our cake to look like, now we need to find the best tasting cake at a delicious price. After our visit we were happy to have gotten some questions answered, and free cake! We in the mean time are in contact with another baker that is better priced and baked! Looking forward to making more progress on this major decision.
After doing some chores we headed to the barn to trim up the buoys from the scrap wood I found. We will have to update you with the final product but for now, I think they've turned out pretty sweet. I just want to make note that if there is a picture of me cutting, it's only because I got to cut the last one. Rightfully so, we would've never finished if I cut from the start. Thanks again to Boo for his amazing wood working skills! Shawty u da bect! Baby surprised me today with trimming up the centerpieces! SOOOO excited and relieved to have this done! Thanks Sugga Boo!
We found the perfect dress for my mom at the perfect store, Anthropologie. You can't tell in the picture, but it has a beautiful lace running along the middle of the dress and it hugs her curves just right! Can't wait to get her all dressed up on our day. Hopefully it will go on sale soon so we can get it! Oh and Little Miss Mia came with us!
Q: Can you guess what day it is?
A: Wednesday Which could only mean one thing- We are at Jupiter Civic Center. This time to check out how our "finished" product looks set up in the space. We determined blue tablecloths is the way to go and that we should be wedding coordinators because it looked awesome. After we got done arranging tables, we took to measuring the space up. I'll save you from all the number talk, but we have plenty of lights to fill the space and more than enough room to dance! After out visit we went to a few other places to get information on cake prices and found rope for the invitations. My to do list is quickly filling up. Oh, and I want these little flag things! |
