As much as I would love to post pictures of all the beautiful dresses, I sadly can not. I'm not going to lie, I was overwhelming surprised at the selection at David's Bridal. I really enjoyed the gang coming to help. Dad, Mom, Sissy, Andi, Kris, Munch, Jo and B joined me and helped me try on gowns that I would have walked right by. Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to spend it helping me and for being easy yet open with your comments and opinions. I think I might have found the dress, but being that I'm somewhat compulsive, I didn't say yes because I didn't want to have buyers remorse later. Besides, I have plenty of time (to gawk over it!) to make a decision.
Took the day to get the paperwork completed for the lease! Which of course meant we had lunch at CR Chicks. We also stopped by Pottery Barn to look at the catering tableware. That's all we will be doing with that, looking. Regardless it was a successful day and we are ready to go for reservation day, June 6th. Brandon surprised me with a date a year from our “hoped” wedding day! To confuse me and not let me in on the real surprise he made a pit stop at Publix and bought me a Hershey almond bar. Then off to the restaurant we went. I had no clue where we were going until we past it… The Cheesecake Factory. Chicken Marsala here we come! Th night didn’t end there. He then surprised me with a ride up on US1 to Ocean drive. The road led us right into Carlin Park, our Wedding Venue location at Jupiter Civic Center. Currently our dates available for the civic center are May 17, and May 31. We would love May 3 but the Town of Jupiter is currently holding an event. So as of now, our first pick is the May 17, 2014. Anyway, when we arrived to the Civic Center, it was clear there was an event taking place, a wedding actually. It was so surreal to see the decorations from afar as we walked along the beach and sat listening to the drifting music and crashing waves. We couldn’t help but begin to imagine our day a year from that day! And of course we found some treasure!
Boo took me to the beach today! Most of my time was spent sleeping while Boo was busy studying for his tests. I eventually turned it into a day to hunt for alter pieces.
