Our day finally arrived, and our day will never end. I'm sure that's what it felt like for everyone involved in our day as well. For us, its a little different. Our day will never end, because the memories we made dancing into the night (and the next day) will stay on our minds daily. I don't want to take up much time with my words, because the pictures below will take up enough. I just want people to know that our day, our wedding day, was the most perfect day in our lives. I can only hope and pray that every bride and groom have a day as perfect as ours. Just as I used to say to my sister Andi, as she got up to bat (and then she proceeded to hit a home run), I say to the future newlyweds, "Smooth and easy, [insert your names here], SMOOOOOTH and EAAAASYY". In the end, your day is what you make it, a "home run", smooth and easy, perfect!

Today is my last day visiting JCC as a single women. I'm pretty excited. Aunt Nana and I went up to get the key and went through a "short" rehearsal timeline for the of. We ran through some last minute planning details and she gave me some insight every bride should receive. Don't stress to much, you know the normal advice, but wait for it... "Be prepared for at least one major thing to go wrong". Which spoke to me. I don't know if it speaks to you the same way, but I'm a "preparer" of sorts. I like to pretend that something really bad happens for two reasons. 1. If something bad happens, you have mentally prepared yourself. 2. If something bad doesn't happen, you get excited that nothing bad happened which makes all the good THAT MUCH BETTER! Im ridiculous I know, but just try my "logic" sometimes. After out trip up to Jupiter, we went back to the Wagner house and prepared for the Rehearsal Dinner. Which, turned out perfect. We did the normal routine, had chipotle with our finest, exchanged our bridal party gifts, showed a rehearsal video we prepared for our guests, and relaxed, and got to see our names engraved on a family heirloom, beautiful. Later that night I finished making my belt to go along with my wedding dress. Ya know, not procrastinating at all. There's a story behind this, and it involves limited supplies because a seamstress originally cut my original belt causing me to have to remake it. Not stressed at all. ;). Afterward, my boys, Boo and Marcus chilled on the swirly couch and exchanged our wedding gifts to one another. Thank you Marcus for inspiring Brandon to draw the details on the wrapping paper! Seriously though, the amount of things one can get done in a day with a hand full of helpers. Today was a special day for us. It was the first day in the Month we are getting married. Should I mention we are getting married May 3rd. I feel like I should be done with everything already, but there are just all those last minute details that have to wait until the last minute. Hmmm, I guess that's where they get their name from. Not only that, it was a day all my girls could "relax" and get our nails done for the wedding. Before this took place though, work had to be done. Brandon, Mama Wagner, and I were up early making bags of rice for "Our Exit". Then I watered and checked on my plants for our bouquets. Afterward I was able to meet up with my girls. After getting out nails done, Bug took my ring by Vandell's and got it cleaned, and met back up with me at the Wagner house where she, Brie, Bryce, and Mama Wagner rolled hundreds of towels for our "clean your toes" bucket. I think the most stress relieving tasks of all today was completed in the early evening. All my sisters and mom showed up to help with making the bouquets. I just have to say, they turned out perfect. While all this was going on, The BM, Marcus Beesley, and his boys took Brandon out for his Bachelor Party. I will leave the details at that. As for my night, my Bachelorette party was chilling with the Beesley's. Katie Beesley stored all the bouquets in the spare fridge, and then we relaxed telling stories with Mr and Mrs. Beesley for a couple hours. Perfect! I can't thank every one enough for the love and support. You have no idea how much this truly means to us. If everyday was as productive as today was, I could have planned our wedding in two weeks. Okay, maybe an exaggeration, but not far from the truth. It just goes to show you how much work you can get accomplished when you have the love and dedication from so many wonderful people wanting to make your day perfect. Our day started early, we had to pick up our Marriage License today form the Court house. If you notice in the pictures, the lady who helped us with getting our license had a light up butterfly on her desk. Just another sign that Gram was with us during our wedding planning. We stopped out Dunkin Donuts and got Donuts and Blue Berry Muffin. Went to Jupiter Civic Center to make final arrangements and to see that the huge black pipeline that I was determined to work around on Saturday, had been completely removed and the beach restored. I mean, how perfect was that timing! Thank you Turtle Season! Dredging had to stop. Since we were up there and saw the pipeline was removed we went ahead and took a chance to see if we could upgrade our room at Jupiter Beach Resort to an ocean front view (long story short the rooms were not available because the dredge line). And guess what, WE DID! For the same price for a room twice as big, with a full out view of the ocean and a view of the south beach, according to the amazing girl that helped us at the front desk. Which not getting my hopes up, is the same direction of JCC. As if that wasn't enough good news for the day, Baby helped me make My Mrs. Wagner hanger. He glued the rope on to the wire writing! Seriously the sweetest! While all this was going on, Mama Wagenr was ready and waiting for us to die our exiting rice Orange and Blue, GO Gata! Later that night, I finished painting my "Our Love Story" sign and Kris came by with her hot glue gun skills to put on the final details! My Boo has known for a long time that I want the W nautical flag. Which is short for Whiskey, which is code for, " I need medical assistance". Which back to the W, I want it because of our soon to be shared last name. So, what did he do? That's right, be jealous, he took me to a Nautical store to purchase some last minute things for decor since we had room in out budget. We needed up getting out guest book oars, ships wheel (because it's just awesome), we will figure out how to use it later, and my W flag! Shawty u da bect! I love you, and thank you so much for this surprise! As for the Coke portion, it was way better than coke. It was Katie Beesley and Mama Wagner stepping up big time to get last minute things done. Katie Beesley went out of her way to come over to the Wagner house and prep our Boat Cooler, load up items into a trailer, organize the left overs, and basically just to get my butt moving! Thanks for the inspiration Katie. While Katie and Boo were busy with their tasks, Mama Wagner went to town on the picture frames we made for the south wall of the Civic Center. Making them was the easy part, figuring out what size pictures we needed printed was difficult. I would have never had time to do this. She made a perfect little list of what size pictures i needed to print and how many of them. I think there were over 20 frames she measured. Of those frames, all were custom sized prints, not counting the pictures frames we had for each tables. Thanks Mama Wagner, Queen of the Measuring Tape.
The girls gifts finally came in. All that stress of them being on backorder can now disappear. Well at least I thought it could. I opened the box to check them out (thankfully) and noticed that there weren't enough boxes. We were short one gift. After an easy phone call later, the gift will be rushed delivered and will arrive this Friday! Only then will i get to finally relax and check that off my list!
After our family Easter celebration we all gathered at the dinner table to work on the napkins for our Sunday reception. At a loss for what to do, Sissy found an idea with life rings made from lifesavers. Mom figured out how to best roll up the silverware in the napkin. Even Dad joined the fun by helping precut all the hemp rope. After Brandon woke up from his nap he jumped right in to. Finally, around 8 we finished. Thank you everyone for your help! They look so cute! I absolutely love them. I couldn't have done it without you. Brandon and I tagged team today. First we went to JCC and checked the curtain rods, figured out how to put up the "fabric wall" (thanks Jessica!), determined how the plate situation would work out (if you are attending this will be important; plates are going in a bin behind the "fabric wall" on the tables). Then I picks dup Jessie's graduation present! Then headed home and Brandon cut up my pallet for my sign and then made our way to the barn to drill out the salt and pepper keepers. |
