I haven't seen a butterfly in forever. Actually, I don't think I have ever seen a butterfly while doing wedding plans until today. I went to go look for some flower ideas when, BAM! A butterfly flew by and landed on the flowers for a meal. I couldn't help but think of Grams. I didn't want to leave that butterfly and she obviously didn't want to leave me. So after I stared at her with the biggest smile on my face, I got my cell phone out and started to have a mini photo shoot. She just fluttered around waiting for me to get the perfect shot and then took off with the wind. Needless to say, she wished me good luck, because I think I found the flowers I want to use in my bouquets! Thank you Grams, I love you and miss you dearly!
The rope for the rehearsal dinner arrived today. If you couldn't tell, Brandon is a little excited with how it looks and feels :).
Over a span of two days, Boo and the Beesley family got together and worked on the arch. I wish I could have ben there to help/watch as the guys did their thing. I am so grateful to have such special people in our lives. The title of this post is not referencing the arch by any means. It couldn't be more ironic that the arch we are going to get married under is going to be built by those very people that have always stood by us and supported us. We love you all so very much, and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives with you! I wish I could show you more, but I can't. These are part of the bridal party gifts! I hope I hope I hope they love them as much as I do. By the way, if you are ever in need of some sweet unique finds check out BubuRuby on Etsy. Not only was she super accommodating, but she also paid close attention to detail by hand tying bows on each box (which I took off to look at each gift) and included an extra pair of earrings for myself.
Boo and I had a successful day. We pressured cleaned some more wood for the altar, I visited JCC. He with with his Bestman, Marcus to get fitted, I got the food finalized, we went to pick up our package form USPS that had sweet packaging from Thailand (now I can make the gifts for my girls), and we got a to of the Rehearsal dinner ideas finalized. |
As a coupleWe love to scuba dive, eat Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream chips, shop in Williams Sonoma, and watch Wheel of Fortune during dinner. Archives
