We started the morning off strong (before I was scheduled to go into work) and knocked out the salt favors. The logo and note was put together in photoshop. Now all we need to do is print and paste then tie a bow on them and they are good to be packed into food savor bags. Groom of the year filled the jars, while I plugged them up. Then to my surprise, Brandon took me down to Flagler to watch the New Year firework display. Oh and the plates have been re-cleaned and packaged after running into dilemma with the sticky residue left behind by Glad Press and seal.

As a goal, I wanted everything pretty much done before January. I think we have successfully met that challenge. Everything isn't done but it's a work in progress or has been ordered to be completed. All the details have pretty much been worked out and now we can start our New Year off on a good foot as opposed to a stressed wedding planning foot. Today/tonight we washed and clean all the dishes and linens. To help with day of set up- we have pre ironed the table napkins and packaged them in food savor bags. Hopefully this will prove helpful and cut back on the time it would take to fold each individual napkin the day of. Thankfully our wedding workshop has late hours! I can't even begin to describe how fortunate I was to take part in the best wedding I have ever been to. I have never felt more love and compassion from a couple and their family. Alessandra and Shig are destined to a life full of love, happiness, support, encouragement, laughter, success… the list goes on. Two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, married at The Flagler Museum on December 28th. The most beautiful wedding, both physically and emotionally. So blessed to have become friends with an amazing couple. Here's to many years of amazing memories! I can only hope our day will be half as beautiful as yours from ceremony to reception. Love more than you Need If you don't remember then you should go back and look at my post from Flowermart in Jupiter. I was invited to go to a flower arrangement class and made a free arrangement with the help of Pam. Anyway, there was a really cool plant we used called cockscomb. My plant had seeds which I am and have been int he process of growing for potential wedding purposes. Anyway, I have completely forgotten to take photos but we aren't that far along. Hopefully they all start growing a little quicker, otherwise they won't be ready come May. Thanks for letting me use your windowsill Brandon!
Today is the dat Boo finally caved in and let me order the silverware. The set we wanted was sold out so we had to go with the newer ($7 total more expensive) style. Now we just have to wait for it to come in. I think the only reason he let us order it is because he is sick and wanted me to leave him alone. Sick or not, we are getting things done this December. Thank goodness we live in a time where internet sales exist otherwise none of this would be possible. In all aspects of life, he's my anchor. I couldn't imagine my life without him and I can't wait for my life as his wife. He is by far the most amazing man I (or you) will ever meet. Can't believe we started our story eight years ago in the halls of Suncoast! Thank you Brandon for being the kind and gentle man you are. You make my life shine bright every day! Thank you Mama Wagner for taking our picture before we went on our annual date as Mr. and Mrs. Moho at Ruth Chris! Wednesday at JCC with my baby!!!! Of course since the tablecloths came in last week it was only necessary to make a special trip up to test them on the actual tables… success! Then we got some other measurements talked with Pete (The JCC guy= AMAZING) and "picked" our spot on the beach. Then we headed to Kilwins got some pecan carmel chocolate apples, then got Boo a gelati from Annie's. From there, we headed to the marina and took a boat out for the afternoon. Boo took me to Minyoun island and we walked through and all the way around looking for driftwood for our arch! Yet again… success! A boat load later we headed back to the dock and loaded up the truck. To top off the night we stopped at John Smith Subs dinner. It doesn't get much better than this! Today Meemaw and I went shopping for an outfit for her to wear to the wedding. We had a couple of goo options but nothing completely caught our eye. Bottoms here or a jacket there and we would have been sold twice. Anyway, we at least managed to get a better idea of what we are looking for! Thanks for rushing through the mall with me Meemaw with all the holiday traffic. So far the Antonio Melani dress is our favorite! I don't know if it's just me or if every Bride gets this excited for their linens, but I was pretty enthused. After Boo carried a 50 lb. box from the front door to the living room we didn't waste anytime getting into them. Everythign was there, just as ordered. We couldn't be happier with the quality, especially at the price we paid. We were able to get everything we needed plus an additional 10 tablecloths at a 1/3 the rental price. We waited to shop on Black Friday, but even without the discount we would have saved a ton. If you ever need table linens, napkins, etc check out LinenTablecloth.com! We are back at it again. The invitations are getting finished today (at least the actual invitation part). But, this requires nothing short of an assembly line. We printed them the other day which only leaves scoring the paper, punching the hole for the grommet, securing the grommet, and then cutting the rope. These are all done with surgical precision. Boo had to do most of the muscle work, I was more as acting supervisor and paper getter outer when the grommets got stuck. Thanks Boo for all your handwork! |
As a coupleWe love to scuba dive, eat Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream chips, shop in Williams Sonoma, and watch Wheel of Fortune during dinner. Archives
